Supported Living

NewCare Devon is an experienced provider of Supported Living services having developed services for people of all ages including those with the most complex and challenging of needs.

We work in partnership with health professionals to design a comprehensive, tailored package of support to meet the needs of each individual and enable them to live as independently as possible, in their own home or in one of NewCare Devon’s Supported Living Units.

Our experienced Support Teams, selected carefully to match the needs of the individual in terms of age, gender and lifestyle, place great emphasis on quality of life along with the highest standards of personal care. Their role is to support and encourage the individual to maintain a level of independence, freedom of choice and control over their daily activities.

What we can offer

  • Social Support: Keeping up activities currently enjoyed, developing new interests and friendships and forging links with the local community
  • Financial Support: Assistance with managing financial affairs, paying bills, applying for benefits and budgeting
  • Personal Care: Individual, mutually agreed packages of personal care including:
    • Washing, showering and bathing
    • Dressing
    • Toileting
    • Shopping and menu planning
    • Meal preparation
    • Medication support
    • Security and personal safety
